Yippee finally the weekend! Although it is kinda crappy weather, oh well, it is still days off to catch up on house stuff and I squeezed in a bit of scrappy time today. For this layout I used this week’s palette at TCR and the sketch from Once Upon a Sketch. The bottom paper is a resist paper from Pink Paisley and I used 3 colors of distress ink on it. The photo is my grand daughter hamming it up for the camera…such a lil cutie pie.
I love playing at OUAS, the sketches are stunning and they encourage you to journal, which I need a push at. For this sketch challenge you had to use a quote. and mine says....Whereever you go, go with all your heart, written by Confucious. In this close up you can also see the distressed layers and the flower and Dusty Attic cluster. For the DA pieces I just painted them black then used distress stickles on them. I added some pearls to the scrolls pieces.
