Love Canvas - Shimmerz

Hello Shimmerz Fans! Today I am going to share a very special gift that I have made. This is a very large canvas, my biggest one that I have made yet. It is called the "Love Canvas". The canvas is loaded with many antique metal pieces, resin pieces, Flying Unicorn metals and lace and Creative Embellishments chippys. I wanted to keep the colors soft and it came to life with Shimmerz products.

 

The background is a combination of Glorious Day Vibez, 4 Leaf Clover and Olive Branch Spritz. I love the soft earthy tones on this canvas.

 

 

 

After the piece was all put together I highlited the metals, resins and chippys with a variety of Shimmerz Inklingz. They add a beautiful Shimmerz to the elements.

 

 

I wish that you could see this piece in person…it truly is to date. my most precious piece of art I have created.

Santa's News - Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! Today I have a holiday layout to share …two of my grandsons..little cutie pies! I have used lots of the winter products from CE on this one.

 

I used the fun Grunge Snowflake stamp in the background first. I added a piece from the Snowflake frame on the side of the photo..love these winter chippys!

 

 

The Snowflake Frame also comes with some extra snowflake chippys that I used here and there…just look at the detail on them…love them!

 

 

I finished it off with a Snowy Tree chippy on the other side. All of the chippys are finished with a coat of gesso and some added beads.

Holiday Card/Tags - Flying Unicorn

Hi everyone! Here are my last three card/tags made for the holidays. For all, I have used a mix of Riddersholm holiday papers, Shimmerz, Creative Embellishments chippys and lots of yummy Petaloo blooms from the Flying Unicorn store. I had so much fun with the first shaker card I made…I just had to make one more!

 

I also created two holiday tags, with little bits of shabby and mixed media on them.

 

I just adore the Petaloo Botanica flowers! So gorgeous!

 

Add a wee bit of gesso and Shimmerz Inklingz to finish them all off!

Christmas Time - Flying Unicorn

Hi everyone. I was looking through old photos and found this one of my sister when she was tiny…super cute! So I decided to scrap it again….a Christmas Layout to hang up during the holiday season! I used the new Riddersholm holiday collection, I am loving that collection it is so different and fun to work with!

 

I used a few Creative Embellishmnets chippys, pretty Petaloo bloom and Flying Unicorn metal adornments.

 

I added some Finabair beads to the chippys.

 

One more close up of the beautiful Petaloos in the cluster. I finished it all off with splats of Shimmerz Inkling!

Inspire - Flying Unicorn December kit.

Hi everyone! I have another share from the gorgeous Flying Unicorn December kit. I made this layout for my niece! I love this Riddersholm collection in the kit!

 

I just love all the embellishments in the kits…pretty Petaloo blooms, Flying Unicorn metal adornments and CE chippys…fun!

Holiday Shaker Card

Hi everyone!  It is not often that I get to play for just me but today I did. I have wanted to try my hand at a shaker card for a while now and had some time today to play for just me….yippeee! I did not have a pattern just kind of made it work and I love this cute little holiday card. I used Riddersholm Christmas collections from the Flying Unicorn store. Lots of little layers from their two Christmas collections.

 

I tucked in some Flying Unicorn lace and beautiful Petaloo flowers.

 

The snowflakes and title chippys are from CreativeEmbellishments and pretty much everything I used is from the Flying Unicornstore…they have an amazing selection of goodies there to play with.

Journal Cover - Flying Unicorn December Kit part 2

Hi everyone! I am back with another share from the Flying Unicorn Dec kit. The Mixed Media kit came with a fun journal to play with this month and I have started with the cover so far.

 

I decided to u se up some older stash with pieces from the mixed media kit. I love the Prima canvas pieces in this kit added them to the top and bottom of the cover….with some Shimmerz mists.

 

Lots of Prima collections on this one…time to use them up before new collections get revealed in the New Year! I also added in lots of Shimmerz mists and Inklingz to finish it all off. The cute chippy heart is from Creative Embellishments.

Holiday Deocrating with Creative Embellishments and the Flying Unicorn OTP

Hi everyone! Today I have my Off the Page project from the Flying Unicorn Dec kit to share…and of course I have added in some Creative Embellishments Chippys to finish it  off. Have you seen all of the NEW Snowflake and holiday chippys in the  CE store…..I am loving them all.

 

This was a metal mail box and I have done some mixed media in the background. After it was done I added in the Snowflake Page Corner Set in a few places to finish it all off. It is finished with gesso and than some white Shimmerz Inklingz to give it a nice shimmer!

Holiday Canvas with Shimmerz

Hello Shimmerz Fans! Today I have a holiday canvas to share with you. This is a very large canvas, about 18 by 22 inches. It is a gift for someone special to hang in their house over the holiday.

 

 

For the background on this canvas I have used Spritz in Bamboo Leaf and 4 Leaf Clover. I also added in some Don’t Be Suede Coloringz. I really love the color combination together on the background.

 

 

All of the Creative Embellishments chippy snowflakes and metals have been finished with a coat of gesso and Spotlight White Inklingz to give them a nice Shimmer!
