Springtime with Riddersholm

Hi everyone! It is almost Easter and today I have a cute little Spring time or Easter card to share. I have used the Newport Collection along with an Easter Mood board picture for inspiration.

 

 

 

Creating cards or tags are a great way to use up smaller leftover pieces from collections. On this one I have torn pieces from the Newport collection and added in the title and bird image from pieces from the Barn Market collection.

 

 

I also added in some of Riddersholm Glitter Glass to for an added touch!

Heritage Layout - Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! Today I have a heritage layout to share. I do not have many old family photos but the ones I do have I cherish. I used Lemon Craft Heart Painted Collection from the Flying Unicorn store.

 

 

The Heart Dangle 2 chippy is so delicate and beautiful. I have added a coat of gesso and some Shimmerz Texturez to add some dimension to it.

 

 

I used my favourite Distressed Text Stamp in the background. Creative Embellishments has an amazing selection of stamps in the store.

 

 

A cluster always looks beautiful with a chippy in there, and I added Flourish 26 to mine.

Distressed Text Stamp

Smile - Petaloo

Hello Petaloo Fans! Shona here today, and I have a layout to share featuring Graphic 45's Mon Amour Collection and lots of gorgeous Petaloo blooms and trims! I had lots of fun making this layout and adding in just a touch of mixed media.

 

I added some Cream Fancy Trims in the background around the photo. For my clusters I used many different Petaloo flowers with the Coral Botanica Bloom as the center piece flower. I also tucked in fussy cut pieces from the G45 collection.

 

 

Once the main flower was placed I just started to add more to the clusters until they were just right. Penny Lane Forget Me Nots, Mini Daisys and Mixed Blossoms were the perfect pieces to fill it all in! I just adore the detail on those cute little flowers!

The Flying Unicorn Guests at CSI

Collect Moments - Vintage Venture Collection - Riddersholm

Hi there! My name is Shona and this is my first post for Riddersholm…so excited to be part of the family here! I just LOVE Riddersholm products! My layout today has a little bit of mixed media and a little bit of shabby look to it. The main paper is from the Vintage Venture Collection! This collection is just gorgeous and there are so many ways to use it.

 

 

I also used a piece from the Bello Pastello Collection in behind the main paper,and I tucked in pieces with the clusters and behind the photo area.

 

Look at the gorgeous background on this Vintage Venture piece!

 

Many of the collections also come with these fun tags and extra papers. Perfect for fussy cutting and I tucked some in behind the photo on this layout.

Happy - Creative Embellishments and Shimmerz

Hi everyone! It is starting to feel like Spring here and I wanted to use some pretty colors…so today I have a fun water color mixed media layout to share with the NEW Aqua Huez from Shimmerz and lots of Creative Embellishments chippys. Papers are from the Riddersholm Newport Collection and available at the Flying Unicorn store.

 

 

 

The chippy are all from Creative Embellishments. The title piece is from the Happy Word Set and I used pieces from the Heart Frame set. They are finished with a coat of gesso and I added some Little Lily Aqua Huez on them. So soft and pretty!

 

I did some stamping in the background first and started to add color with the Aqua Huez. If you spray with a bit of water they blend together perfectly. I used 3 colors. Little Lily, 14 Carrots and Hottie Pink.

 

Another piece form the Heart Frame set. The water paints look so pretty on the Petaloo flowers too! Some added splats and drips with the Aqua Huez to finish it off!

Dreamer - Flying Unicorn March Kit

Hi everyone! I am back with another share from the gorgeous Flying Unicorn March kit! This kit is PACKED full of goodies to play with!

 

 

I fussy cut some flowers from the Studio 75 collection and added in with the clusters. Love the Prima stamp in the kit and the cool new foils to play with.

 

Another one of the foils…so much fun! The kit also comes with some pretty Prima resins.

 

One last close up of all the embellishments in the kit!

March Challenge at Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! A new month means a new Challenge at CreativeEmbellishments! I was inspired by the soft colors in the photo to create this fun beach themed card!  For the twist…well I am lucky to have family that lives near the Ocean, and each time I visit we tour around the Island. The papers are Riddersholm and others goodies from the Flying Unicorn store.

 

I tucked in pieces from the Nautical Anchor and Sea GrassSets and finished it off with pieces from the Seashells set! I also tucked in a few real shells.

Spring is in the Air with Petaloo

Hello Petaloo Fans! Shona here today! Spring is in the air and today I have a fun Spring project to share with you! I have used the Graphic 45 Childrens Hour Collection and lots of pretty Petaloo blooms to create this altered box and tag set!

 

Gorgeous Spring colors of Purples and Greens…and the Petaloo flowers just match the gorgeous G45 papers perfectly! For my clusters I used Botanica Blooms and Petites with a few Burlap Blossoms tucked it.

 

Such pretty colors and the Spring Berry Clusters tucked into the cluster is just perfect!

 

 

As I start to open the box you can see the cute little pieces from the G45 papers.

 

 

Inside the box I have created some Spring Tags.

 

 

I have used the same Botanica and Burlap blooms with some added Velvet Hydrangeas on the tags.

 

What a beautiful match of G45 and Petaloo…Happy Spring everyone!
