February Challenge Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! A new month means a new challenge at Creative Embellishments. This is the month of “love” and I was inspired to create this card/tag set!

 

 

I used the Be Mine Frame Set and tucked in pieces from the Moroccan Lattice Panel on this shabby girly grunge set. 

 

I left the chippys are naked and just added touches of gesso with my finger and some beads to finish them off.

Under Dreamy Skies - Creative Embellishments.

Hi everyone! Shona here today, and I have a monochromic layout to share. Teals and greys are such a pretty color combo.. and they went perfect with my selection of snowflake chippys and the winter theme. The papers are from 7 Dots Cotton Candy Dreams Collection.

 

I started with some Grunge Snowflake stamping in the background. All of the chippys are finished with some white embossing powder with a hint of gold in it. This chipboard piece is from the Falling Snow Set.

 

I tucked in a few snowflake pieces from the Large Snowflake Set. This set is so pretty and such a big variety to choose from.  

 

The cute XO is from the Tic Tac Toe Set. I finished the layout off with little splatter of Shimmerz Penny 4 Your Thoughts Inklingz.

Traditions - Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! Today I have a fun layout to share…my daughters family tradition is to search out their tree for the Holiday season. I used 7 Dots Writers Block collection for this layout, and I am entering it into the 7 Dot Tradition challenge.

 

 

The title chippy is from the Heritage Word Set. The snowflakes and title are all first covered in gesso than I added some glittery embossing to them.

 

The gorgeous stamp is also from Creative Embellishments. The Grunge Snowflake stamp was perfect for this wintery layout. The cute little Creative Embellishments Distressed Snowflake Flairs added the perfect touch as well.

 

The Pine and Tall tree chippys were all first covered in some texture crackle paste.

 

After the trees were dry I added some different beads with Shimmerz Puttin’ on the Glitz Paste-eez.

Amazing - Shimmerz Paints

Hello Shimmerz fans! Today I have a fun beach themed layout to share, with lots of yummy Shimmerz Products on it! The papers are Vintage Artistry from 49 and Market…they go perfect for my theme and with the vintage photo that I found. My Aunt and my best guess is the 1950’s sometime. 

 

The NEW Paste-eez Salt of the Earth is perfect for all of your stencilling and I used it with 3 different stencils in the background. 

I also used Hot Fudge Vibez, Well Blue Me Down and Don’t Be Suede Colorings to highlight background sections on this layout.

My finishing touches are with splashes and splatters of Penny 4 Your Thoughts and Giddy About Green Inklingz.

I created my first video in a very long time…and it took me forever to do it. This is video of my process on this layout. It is a wee bit blurry but you can see the step by steps that I did to create it. Click on the link to go to the video. I will work on the blurries on my next video.

A Fairy Tale Mind - NEW Shimmerz Paste-eez

Hello Shimmerz fans and Happy New Year to you all! Everyone at Shimmerz is so excited about the NEW product releases and today I have a fun layout that features the NEW Paste-eez! So much fun to play with! 

 

 

Paste-eez is perfect for stencil work to add some dimension to your creations. I used Salt of the Earth and a Little Nutty on this layout.

 

 

They are thick and smooth and I want them in every color!!!

 

 

I finished off the layout with little splatters of Penny 4 Your Thoughts and Chocolate Diamonds Inklingz.

Family - 49 and Market

Hi everyone! I am back with another 49 and Market share, and I must say I am addicted to these gorgeous collections and embellishments! Today I have a fun layout created with the Heirloom Botanicals Collection. I fussy cut the Conservatory sheet around the edges and attached it to a sheet of the Patch. I used the edges of one of Gabi’s Square Stitch Stamps to stamp around the edges of the paper, and I tucked in a few scrap pieces of lace between the paper layers.

 

The Cut Out Sheet with this collection has amazing pieces to fussy cut out and add to your projects! In this close up you can see the cute little bird house and bird cut outs. Use a little pop up to add dimension.

Lastly I added a bit more stamping with Gabi’s Butterflies are Free Stamp Set and of course the gorgeous 49 and Market blooms to finish it all off. I tucked in some Garden Blooms in Pale Lavender and Blush with a couple of White Roses.
