Today was Beautiful with you *SOUS*

TGIF! Yippee it is Friday…and today is another reveal day at Stuck on U Sketches and another gorgeous original sketch by our very own Leah S! I have used papers from the Almanac Prima collection and lots of Dusty Attic chippys, all available at the Flying Unicorn store. Lots of layers, inking and distressing on this. The photo is me and my daughter being goofs. This is kinda normal when we get together J

The bird cage is a chippys from DA…I have just painted it black and added some liquid pearls to it. I love the black accents on this Prima collection.

The oval frame under the flowers is one of the new ATC chippy frames and the leaves have rock candy crackle on them.

The top scroll also has rock candy crackle on it and some liquid pearls.

Well that is it for today. Come on over to the Stuck on U Sketches blog and play along with us, there is lots of inspiration there. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend! Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Nature Calls – Fabscraps NEW Rustic Collection.

Happy Hump Day everyone! Well I have quite a few projects made with the new yummy Fabscraps collections and I am going to reveal one day from the Rustic Collection. I have used a sketch from the Flying Unicorn. The photo is my cutie patutie grandson when we went to visit at Easter.

I made the brown flowers with the collection papers and my Tim Holtz tattered flowers die. I also added in some weird TH paper that Maggi gave to me as a gift. The flowers are misted and I have added some perfect pearls to them. The cute little trees are from the Fabscraps Collection.

This collection comes with lots of cool chippys and this is another one. I have first painted it white then added some glimmer mist, glam and rock candy crackle to it.

I tucked in a doily and cut one from the papers with a Spellbinders die.

For the title chip board piece I have inked the edges and then covered it with Tim Holtz Rock Candy Crackle paint. There is such a large variety of title chipboard pieces in this collection.

To view the whole collection go here, and to view the new Fabscraps blog go here. Stop by and visit, I am sure you will be inspired by the amazing Design Team creations. I will keep you all posted on upcoming events on the blog too. I hope that you all have a fantastic week! Play Dream Laugh – Mojo Monday *CT Flying Unicorn*

Hi everyone! It is Mojo Monday over at the Flying Unicorn and this weeks sketch is by Tammy Henderson…YUMMY!!!!! And I was so lucky to be picked to create with it. I have used Prima Almanac, Dusty Attic chippys and flowers, and lots of layers. The photo is my two grandsons last week.

I distressed the outside layers and inked the layers inside. I tucked in a piece of DA chicken wire by the photo.

I have done a mix of Dusty Attic and Prima flowers, added a few pieces of twine and a Dusty Attic skeleton clock.

The tag is made with Prima packaging. I have punched the bottom of it and added a few goodies to it.
Here is a little card that I made yesterday at NSD with the same collection. I went to a BBQ last night and gave it to the host with a bottle of nice white wine. You know what is funny though...it opens the wrong way! oh well...its original hehe.

Well that is it for today. Everything on this layout is available at the Flying Unicorn store.  I hope that you all have a fantastic week! Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

May “Sweet Embrace” CT Flying Unicorn Part two

Hi everyone…I have a couple more projects that I have made using myMay “Sweet Embrace” KOM for the Flying Unicorn.  The kit comes with some 6 x 6 papers from Inkado and I have always to try an easel card so this is the one that I made.

The kit also comes with some gorgeous Melissa Francis papers and I here are two layouts that I have created with them. The first one is called SHE and it is my grand daughter blowing bubbles. Lots of distressing and inking on this one.

The kit also comes with lots of transparency pieces and I have used some with alcohol inks for the title.

The flowers are just simple punched ones from the leftover papers. I love the Dusty Attic chipboard roses and I have first used some gesso on them and them some mists and inks.

My last layout is of my friend when we were at the Hot Springs last weekend.

I have taken the flat flowers in t he kit, misted them, scrunched them up and layers them for this layout.

I added a few tag pieces and all the chippys are from Dusty Attic.

The background texture is a Prima mask with molding past and them I have inked it a bit.

Well that it for today. Come on by the Flying Unicorn and join in on all the fun and games this month. I hope that you all have a fantastic week! Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

May “Sweet Embrace” CT Flying Unicorn Part one

Hi everyone…it is reveal for the May “Sweet Embrace” KOM for the Flying Unicorn.  What a gorgeous kit and there is so many ways to use the different paper collections. My first layout is made with the BoBunny collection and is called. Explore. I have done lots of distressing and inking on the edges and used a Prima brick mask stamp with gesso in the background.

I used the matching papers to make the rosette flowers banner tags and leaves.

My next layout is made with some of the Melissa Fransis and 6X6 Inkado papers.

I painted the chipboard piece black and added in a black title piece.

The butterflies are punched from the same papers and I inked the edges and added some liquid pearls to t he centers.

The kit also comes with the fun Off The Page pager bag album. I have covered it with a G45 collection. There are no photos in it yet as it will be a gift, and I have to wait for the photos.

For my last projects for today I have used the KC papers in the kit. Adore is my first layout with these papers. I have done lots of punching and used my Prima Gate mask in the background.

The flowers are all from Manor House and I have misted the brown ones to make them match my layout.

My final layout for today is called Us…me an hubby. Once again I have misted all of the Manor House flowers except the big white one.

I have added in a couple of Dusty Attic chippys from the store here and finished it off with some liquid pearls. That is it for today.

Well that is “part one” and I have many more projects that I have created with the May KOM and they will all be posted soon. Come on by the Flying Unicorn and join in on all the fun and games this month. I hope that you all have a fantastic week!
