Be Mine - Creative Embellishments Feb Challenge

Hi everyone! It is time for a new Challenge on the Creative Embellishments blog today! I was inspired to create this fun tag to add to hubbys Valentine's Day gift.

 

 

I used the yummy Distressed Checkered Stamp on the background first. The title is a piece from the Valentine’s Hashtag Set and the wings behind the heart are from Wings Set 4.

 

 

The twist - ombre/gradient effect- on chipboard piece, I first painted them with gesso, added some distress ink on the bottom and Shimmerz paints on the rest. The 7 Dots papers and trims are from the Flying Unicorn store.
