Flying Unicorn KOM Part 2

Hi everyone and welcome! Today I have my Off the Page project from the gorgeous Flying Unicorn December Kit of the Month “Ode to Yesteryear”. The OTP project that comes in the kit is a Teresa Collins Christmas Countdown Memory Album Kit. Now I had full intensions of making this album and using it as a little December Album BUT then my daughter sent me a couple of photos of my new grandson at a Santa photo shoot. SO…I just happen to have no other Christmas paper in my house at the moment and could not wait to scrap these photos…SO…I used a lot of the contents for the album on my layouts..hehe! OK so here is my first layout with the OTP project.

It is called Santa Baby and just look at how cute he is awwwww!! I used a mask in the background with gesso and mists.

All of these cute little tags, banners come with this memory album.

For my next layout Mikey was throwing a fit and wanted to get out of there so the little sign beside him was too cute to not get this shot of him. Again I have used LOTS of the contents of the OTP project on this layout.

Ok so here is the front of the Album…as far as I got with it LOL!

And to finish this post off I have also made a cute little tag with the OTP contents. The image is from Magic Moonlight Studio Images.

Dont forget to head over to the Flying Unicorn store for all your scrappy needs. I hope you all have a fabulous week!

Cherish **SOUS, Fabscraps, Green Tara**

Hi everyone and TGIF….yippee it is another reveal day at Stuck on U Sketches! I just love this festive sketch, but for myself I have decided to go with a non holiday layout. I have used the Fabulicious Enchanted Gardens Collection from Fabscraps, which you can find in the Flying Unicorn store, and some delish Green Tara Flowers and trims to finish off this layout of my grand daughter. I have also done lots of distressing, inking and stamping in the background.

There are so many musicians in my family that I have always had a soft spot in my heart for musical papers and I just adore this collection. Here you can see a small peek a boo tear that I made in the papers, with some stamped leaves and yummy Green Tara flowers.

Here is a close up of the larger cluster. I love to add touches of gesso to lots of my elements after the layout is complete.

I have added lots of layers of stamping, doilys, ribbons and lace to add dimension to the layout.

Well that is it for today. Come on over to the Stuck on U Sketches blog and play along with us, there is lots of inspiration there. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend! Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Flying Unicorn December Kit of Month - Ode to Yesteryear - Part 1

Hi everyone and welcome! Yippee it is reveal day for the gorgeous Flying Unicorn December Kit of the Month “Ode to Yesteryear”, and this is one of my favourite kits so far this year. There are 3 different yummy paper collections and lots of goodies to complete your projects. Today I am going to share three of the layouts that I have created with this amazing kit. For my first layout I have used the Mother Nature collection from Ruby Rock-it. These papers and add ons are just delicious! I have done lots of masking, fussy cutting and distressing on this one. The photo is my daughter and new grandson. This is one of the photos from her baby shoot when I was there. Was fun to watch the photographer in action LOL!

The masking is done with gesso and I have also used some glimmer mists behind it. Don’t you just love the resin pieces from Prima…yes in the kit too!!!!

The background birds and flowers are fussy cut from the collection papers. The title is some chippys in the kit that I have painted and stamped.

For my next layout I have used the Creative Imaginations IOD Gallivant Collection in the kit. Again there are so many coordinating pieces to embellish with. The photo is two of my grandsons.

I have added a metal crown that is in the kit with the gorgeous flower cluster. The balloons are fussy cut from the collection papers and also there is a transparency with lots of balloons to fussy cut.

One more close up of the main cluster with the chippy and metal crowns and the title chippys.

My last layout for today is made with the Fabulicious Marie Antoinette Collection from Fabscraps. I told you this kit is loaded!!!!!!! Lots of fussy cutting, distressing and masking on this one also. The photo is my niece…what a cutie pie!

I did some masking in the background with gesso and added touches to the flowers.

The bird cage is fussy cut from the Ruby Rock-it collection and I added one of the resin birds on it.

I have made so many more projects with this kit as it is loaded with goodies. Swing by the store to get yours as they sell out fast and don’t forget to check out the add ons…they were all so so perfect this month. Have a great week everyone!

Wonder **CT Flying Unicorn and Green Tara** and an annoucement

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I have a layout that I have created using the Mojo Monday Sketch at the Flying Unicorn and lot of yummy Green Tara blooms and trims. Its Sunday and its early, gives everyone an extra day to play with it :) I received my new Green Tara package the other day..and I could not wait to play with all the new gorgeous goodies..yums! I have done lots of distressing, some background work with gesso and mists and added lots of layers of goodies. The cutie pie is my new grandson when he was just one week old. This sketch was so much fun to work with and I turned it sideways.

I just love this Green Tara cobweb trim, it adds so much dimension to the background. I have also tucked in one of the gorgeous new Green Tara Lace Pearl Flowers, so delicate and delicious.

Close up of the cute little banner. I have added some Pearl pen to it and a Green Tara paper string bow.

The main cluster is loaded with lots of the yummy new Green Tara Blooms. I am in love with them all, yummy! The main flower is the Damask and Organza flower in Aqua and just look at the new delish Satin Rosette in Sage…yummy is all I can say!

Well that is it for today. On another note I would like to announce that I was asked to join the Scrap For Help Challenge site team.
