OFF THE PAGE with my Flying Unicorn May Kit "Coffee & Muse"

Hi everyone! Today I have my off the page project from the Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Monh “Coffee & Muse”. The OTP included in this months kit is a Tim Holtz Large Configuratoin Book…and how much fun was this to make. I decided to make it a nautical them and use some photos from my recent trip down the Oregon Coastline. Such a gorgeous area to visit. I was definately inspired by fellow team mate Jen on the theme for this.

 

Here is the front cover and this book is BIG. I have used lots of goodies from the Flying Unicorn store. The background is a combo of gesso and Shimmerz mists. The cute little segul is a photo I got and fussy cut him out.

The fun metal pieces are from Fabscraps and that is a piece of driftwood that I got on the beach there.

Just look at that coastline……gorgeous I tell ya! This is the inside cover and was so much fun to make. I used LOTS of Shimmerz mists here and let them drip lots. All of the yummy flowers and trims are from the Flying Unicorn store.

After “Motherhood comes “Nanahood” LOL! Yessss this is one of my cutie pie grand babies.  For my project I have done some masking with the some yummy DazzelerZ Spun Sugar…just look at that shimmer and the amazing texture.

Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Month "Coffee & Muse" Part 1

Hi everyone! It is reveal day for the Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Monh “Coffee & Muse” and believe me this kit is just jam packed full of yummy goodness!!! I have 3 layouts to share. First up I have used the delish Prima Collection in the kit. I love this layout...the background is so funky and fun!

I added is lots of masking and texture in the background for this one.

For the masking and drips I have used lots of Shimmerz in the background.

My cutie pie nieces in this layout.

The masking is done with some Golden texture paste and a Prima Crackle Mask. These are all available in the Flying Unicorn store!

The chippys are from Dusty Attic and they are finished with some Shimmerz Before Dawn Vibez.

For my last layout I tried to stay away from girlie since my grandson is in it hehe.

The drips and splatters are with some Shimmerz, the masking is with a Prima mask and some Tim Holtz Distress ink. These are all available in the Flying Unicorn store and look at that Flying Unicorn key Adornment….love them!

Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Month "Coffee and Muse"

There are two things required when creating Coffee & Muse. As we give tribute to our paper crafting muse hopefully our creative mjo will not leave anytime soon. Our May kit is filled to the brim with so many hot products from Prima and the Divine Collection by Jodie Lee, to Love is in the Air Collection by 7 Dots and the Collectible collection by My Minds Eye. Burlap, Prima flowers, Ingvlid Bolme inks, La Blanche stamps and so much more will give your muse something to create about .
