Mojo Monday - Flying Unicorn

Hi everyone! Happy Mojo Monday to you all! Today I have TWO layouts created with a gorgeous Flying Unicorn sketch created by Alda…she does the most amazing sketches to play with and sketches always give me Mojo! I have used lots of goodies from the Flying Unicorn store.  For the first one the papers are Prima Butterfly collection.

 

 

The chippys are from Creative Embellishments and have Finnabair beads on them.

 

The background has some masking with lots of Shimmerz goodies on it…and that yummy key is a Flying Unicorn Adornment!

 

One last close up with a fussy cut Prima butterfly.

 

 

Here is my second layout...I have used Authentique Everlasting Collection for this one. Black and white is always so much fun to work with and  you can add in all the color you want..and I have with Shimmerz Coloringz and Dazzlerz.

 

 

 

I love all the fun pieces you can fussy cut from this collection!

 

 

I added in some wooden pieces from the July kit and lots of pretty Petaloo Flowers. The beads are from Prima Finnabair.

Flying Unicorn July Your Passion Your Art KOM part 2

Hi everyone! I am back with another layout to share from the Flying Unicorn July kit! I just adore the papers in this kit…so beautiful!

 

The blooms and embellishments in the kit are amazing!

 

I used the kit mask on the background with some yummy Shimmerz.

 

I just love all the fussy cutting you can do to add to your projects!

Off the Page with Shimmerz and the Flying Unicorn July Kit

Hello Shimmerz Fans! Today I have something a little bit different for me. This is a rattan star Off the Page project from my Flying Unicorn July kit. I used lots of Shimmerz to complete this project. It’s a beautiful wall hanging.

 

To start I covered most of the star with Gesso…I than added Cotton Candy Spritz and Don’t Be Suede Coloringz. This added some nice soft color and beautiful Shimmer to the background on the project.

After all the embellishments were attached I used Penny 4 Your Thoughs and Pink a Boo Inkglingz to finish it all off. I just added touches with my finger to each piece.

 

I think the Inklings looks amazing on the ceramic pieces like this butterfly.

Canvas Wall Hanging - Creative Embellishments and Flying Unicorn July kit

Hi everyone! Today I have a trio wall hanging to share and it is loaded with lots of fun Creative Embellishments chippys! The canvas’s are from my Flying Unicorn July kit and I just attached them all together to create this wall hanging.
 

 

I cut a Large Clock Face in half and attached on the top and bottom canvas’s…added in some flowers and tucked in lots of Gear chippys. The Gears are fabulous fillers and give my project a bit of a steam punk look to it.

 

I used the Distressed Text Stamp in the background and added pieces from Flourish Set 5 on all three canvas’s.

 

This is the bottom canvas…you can see all the chippys on this one!

Creative Embellishments and Sketchabilities

Hi everyone! A new monthly challenge revealed on the Creative Embellishments Blog today…and a bonus sketch from Sketchabilities as we are their sponsor and guest this month! What a beautiful and fun sketch to play with! For me the inspiration photo looked old to me so I went with a heritage layout. For the twist I added some wood buttons. The papers, trims and flowers are all from the Flying Unicorn store.

 

 

 

 

I used the Distressed Text Stamp in the background and tucked in pieces from Flourish Set 4 in with the clusters.

 

The title piece is from the Dream Word Set..I just love these title pieces and there are a few in each set!

 

Another new favourite chippy of mine right now is the SquareMini Frames…they are perfect for tucking in and I have one behind the photo here. All of the chippys are finished with a coat of gesso and some vintage colored Inklingz from Shimmerz.

Hi everyone! It is reveal day for the Flying Unicorn July Your Passion Your Art Kits! This is definitely one of my fav kits to date…the colors, papers, embellishments are so amazing. The photos are my sweet great niece..she is a cutie pie and having some fun blowing dandelions..too cute!
