March Limited Edition Kit from My Creative Scrapbook

 

Hi everyone! I am thrilled to now be part of the My Creative Scrapbook design team. MCS has a variety of kits that are available each month..and each one is just loaded with so many goodies to play with. I am part of the Limited Edition team and this months kit is loaded with gorgeous new Prima and new 49 and Market! The kit also has lots of embellishments to finish your projects off. Today I am sharing two of the layouts from the March LE kit! Prima Love Clippings collection and the 49 and Market blooms are a gorgeous combo to play with!

 

 

There are even some Prima metal pieces in the kit!

 

The collection chipboard package is loaded with lots of pieces to tuck in on your projects!

 

My second layout is me and Olaf…he loves to ham it up for the camera all the time!

 

The cute little layered flowers I made with the kit papers…I will do a tutorial in a couple of days to show you how to make them!

Vintage Artistry Cards - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans!! Today I have a card set to share featuring lots of the gorgeous NEW products from 49 and Market.

 

To start I created the cards using the Vintage Artistry Collection. I just used layers of the beautiful papers as the base.  

 

Next I added a bit of stencilling with Shimmerz Paste-eez and Gabi’s Butterflies are Free stamp set in the background.

 

The new blooms are so lovely…and each package has lots of different sizes and styles to play with. For my clusters I used Blush Melange and Ivory Melange from the Shimmer and Shine collections. I also tucked in a few Roses in green…these packages of flowers are perfect as little filler flowers!

 

The sentiment stamp is from Gabi’s Hibiscus Stamp Set. Here you can see some of the NEW 49 and Market “3D Embellishments”…those beautiful layered leaves and that adorable dragonfly! These will be in the store very soon! I finished it all off with a bit of Shimmerz Inklingz splatters.

March Challenge at Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! Happy March…yippee that means it is almost Spring time where I live. With Spring in mind, I was inspired to create this gift bag and tag set for the New March challenge from Creative Embellishments! The gorgeous papers and blooms are from 49 and Market.

 

 

 

I have used the fabulous Distressed Text Stamp in the background..and my chippys are from the Small Sentiment Word set and the LeafyVine Frame.   

 

All of the chippys have a coat of gesso on them and some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I finished everything off with some splashes of Shimmerz Inklingz.

Now for my project! I created a fun shaker card with a Doodle Heart Frame chippy as my center piece. I filled it with Spring Fever and Gold Dust Sequins.  

 

 

 

The cute little hearts on the frame are Love U Tons Felties covered with some Shimmerz Pinkadelic Acri Tonez. I tucked some of the cork pieces in with the flowers.

 

I used the CE Distressed Text Stamp in the background and added some chippys gears and flourish to the clusters. My last piece is one of the NEW Shine Gold Flairs from CE.

She Was a Wildflower - Shimmerz Paints

Hello Shimmerz fans!! Today I have a fun project to share. I bought a wooden mixed media placque and altered it with lots of Shimmerz products. The wood is like an old barn wood so a vintage photo was perfect to start. The photo is of my mom and sisters.

I started with lots of layers of stencil work in the back ground with the NEW Paste-eez in Salt of the Earth, The “Cream” Team and A Little Nutty. Paste-eez is a wonderful thick paste and perfect for stencil work.

The Creative Embellishments chippy gears are finished with Penny 4 Your Thoughts and French Twist Inklingz.

I also love the NEW Acritonez paints and used 3 Sheets to the Wind for the splatters and Peas Be Mine of the leafy chipboard.

Recycled Gift Tags - Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone! Today I have two tags to share. Two tags that were created from flower packaging. I find the packaging is a nice size, already has a hole in the top and a perfect way to recycle!

 

After I covered the packaging with left over paper and tissue pieces, I added some masking and color with Shimmerz products. I cut the Circle Vine Frame in half…one half for each tag. All of the chippys are finished with a coat of heavy Gesso and some added beads.

 

The sentiments are from the Baby Word Set…the word sets are perfect for sentiments and project titles, and there is a large selection of sets to pick from! These two tags will be perfect to add to a baby gift!
