Kissing Booth mini!!!! **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone and welcome! Today I have a mini that I have created using the Kissing Booth Collection from Basic Grey, Dusty Attic, embellishments and yummy flowers…available in the Flying Unicorn Store.

I started with a Kaisercraft mini chipboard album and first covered the pages with the fabulous Kissing Booth papers. There are so many amazing little pieces that can be fussy cut to use on projects, like the tags, and there is a sticker sheet as well with some very cool goodies on there. I added some ribbons to the rings on the album for some cuteness.

You can see some of the stickers on the small first flap and I have added some crinkle seam bindings. On the heart page is a photo of my grand daughter with a Dusty Attic chippy above her. I have added some tags, liquid pearls and ZVA crystals to finish this page off.

I added some lace and more ZVA crystals with a little saying on the other side of the heart. The next page is one of my grandsons, and I added lots of goodies here. Crinkle seam binding, flowers, some twine, some fussy cut hearts from the Kissing Booth papers and another piece of Dusty Attic.

On the final two pages I did some stamping, added in more flowers, twine, leaves and Dusty Attic. As you can see on these two pages I did some machine stitching on the bottom layers before I put the mini together. Once again the photos are my grand kids.

I also made a card using the Kissing Booth collection. I used some of the oval stickers seen behind the fussy cut hearts. The title is on a Dusty Attic chippy, which I just painted white then added some glimmer mists to it. I finished it off with some flowers, ribbons and buttons.

Ok that is it for today..don’t forget to stop by the store for all of your scrappy needs! Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic week.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Kiss Me and a Card

Happy Saturday everyone! I have two projects today…a layout and a card. First the layout, I have used this weeks palette at The Color Room, the sketch and journaling from Once Upon a Sketch and Riddersholm papers from the FlyingUnicorn Store. The journaling criteria had to be about a man in your life…and what better man to use than my new lil man grandson. He is just the cutest! I have done lots of distressing, stitching and made the pink flowers with my tattered flowers dies.

Here are a couple of close-ups of the stitching, distressing, journaling and flowers.

I have done some stamping and added a rub on in the background. The name plate is a chippy from Dusty Attic, also available in the store, and I added in some liquid pearls.

My next project is a card for the Bo Bunny Card Challenge, and also for a challenge at the Flying Unicorn. I have used the sketch from Bo Bunny and their Smoochable collection.

I added in some crinkle seam binding with one of the collection brads and a couple of acrylic pieces with some twine on them.

Well that is it for today…I will be back soon! Don’t forget to stop by the Flying Unicorn store for all you scrappy supplies. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic weekend.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

The Best Day Ever **SOUS**

TGIF! Wow can you believe it is February already…and today is another reveal day at Stuck on U Sketches and the gorgeous sketch is by our own fabulous Leah. I have only done one page of the sketch though. I have used papers from Basic Grey and lots of distressing, masking, misting and goodies from my stash. The cutie pie in the photo is my grandson.

I have done some deep distressing and used a prima mask on the outside piece. You can see the inked up layers and some corrugated board behind the photo.  I have also tucked in a Dusty Attic piece.

I adore the colors on this layout and the deep colors in the Prima flowers and Petaloo leaves.

The chippys are first painted white then I added some slate glimmer mists to them and a couple of BG stickers from the collection.

Isnt he just the cutest hehe J this is so frame worthy my daughter said …so in a frame it will go and in his bedroom.

Well that is it for today, but I am sure I will be back again this weekend sometime! I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend! Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

February Guest Designer at Flying Unicorn!

I am so THRILLED to announce that the super talented Gerry van Gent is our February Guest Designer at Flying Unicorn.  I adore Gerry’s creations…always packed full of amazing details, I can hardly wait to see what she has done with our February kit which reveals on February 3rd.

Here is a little something about Gerry she wrote up for us:

My name is Gerry - a 38 years old Bulgarian woman who lives in The Netherlands. I`m a mom of two adorable kids and a wife of a very supportive hubby. I`m a SAHM and I have plenty of time to spend with my kids and of course I have plenty of time for my hobbies...scrapbooking and photography. I got involved in scrapbooking back in 2003 when my first child was born and I never stopped since then. I find inspiration in my kids, in every day life and of course in the products I work with.
My work is always detailed and dimensional. I love misting, masking, stamping, making my own embellishments and I love hand-stitching on my layouts.
I currently design for Webster`s Pages, The Scrap Cake, The Color Room, Imaginarium Designs, Once Upon A Sketch, Manor House Creations, Scrapdelight and I`m a teacher at Miss Art`s Papercrafting school.
I`m so honored and happy to be guest-designing for Flying Unicorn - amazing kits to work with and a must-have for every crafter. Thank you for this opportunity!

I hope you join us at Flying Unicorn to see what Gerry's creativity brings!!
