Live & Smile Prima BAP

HI everyone! I have been working on this layout off and on all week. I am cleaning like crazy here to get ready for the holidays but when I take breaks I have scrapped a wee bit J Todays layout is for the November Prima BAP. I have used Prima Lifetime Collection, a bit of scraps from Prima’s older Sunrise Sunset Collection and lots of Shimmerz goodies in the background. My grand babies and yes I have scrapped this once before, but that is the beauty of the holidays…I can scrap them all 2-3 times as they are all gifts for my kids.

 

 

The flowers are all from Prima. The cute buttons are from the Lifetime Collection and I added in a few Prima Mechanical metals. I have added drips of Shimmerz paints in Golden Wheat, Bubble Gum and Key Lime.

Have you tried the new Dimentionz from Shimmerz yet? It is paint in a bottle with a nozzle tip…FUN! I have finished all the chippys with some!

Getting ready for the Holiday!

HI everyone! Well I am getting my house ready for the Holidays and decided to alter a Sleigh that I bought! It is quite big, about 18 inches or so. I went to my local floral shop and picked up a few holiday sprays and it started.

I added some May Arts trims and Prima flowers from the Flying Unicorn Store to finish it all off. This is the front of the sleigh.

Look at the cutie pie lil ceramic bird…he goes perfectly in there surrounded by the lovely Prima flowers.

One more close up!  I did not want to overload it but kept it quite simple.

ART Mixed Media Canvas **Shimmerz**

Hi Everyone! I love to get creative with a canvas creation now and then and I made this one for a special friend. I was definitely inspired by our own Shimmerz DT Miranda’s amazing canvas work but also added lots of my own touches here and there to it. It has lots of background work with yummy Shimmerz products! This is a great project to use up bits and pieces of trims, flowers and even some old hardware that you have laying around!

First I added all the pieces to my canvas and painted it with gesso. I applied layers of Treasured Hymn and Cotton Candy Spritz.

After that was heat set I added some Hot Fudge Vibez and let it drip and move around as I heat set it.

I finished it off with a few more trims.

Reasons to Smile **Mojo Monday Flying Unicorn**

HI everyone! It is my turn for the Mojo Monday at the Flying Unicorn and her is my take on this weeks yummy sketch from Tammy! I have  used some Marion Smith NirvanaCollection, Dusty Attic chippys, Prima flowers and lots of delish Shimmerz goodies.  Look at how cute my lil grandson is awww!

 

I did some masking in the background and added some Shimmerz Spritz and drips of Choc-o-lat Shimmerz.

The chippy is covered with Shimmerz Enamelz Fakebake.

Today **CT Flying Unicorn**

HI everyone! Today I have a layout to share featuring Marion Smith Designs Nirvana collection… I have used all the bits and pieces that I had left for this one. I also used a sketch from Sketchabilities from a couple weeks ago to pull it all together. My cutie pie grandson playing in the Fall leaves…love these pics!

 

 

I am also in love with all the new Petaloo flowers and look at those cute Petaloo leaves! I also used some of the very cool Finnabair Mechanicals.

Here you can see lots of yummy Shimmerz. Hot Fudge Vibez drips and Dazzlerz in the background.

Beautiful **Shimmerz and Flying Unicorn**

HI everyone! Today I have layout to share with lots of background work with yummy Shimmerz products and I have used some 7 Dots 9^th Wave Collection. My beautiful sister in law and niece :)

First I did some masking in the background with some Golden Molding Pate and Shimmerz Texturez in Patina…I just love this color and it goes with so much. I also sprayed some Shimmerzingz in Goldie Lox and Spritz in Treasured Hymn over the masked areas.

Here is another close up…I wish you could see how much shimmer and shine there is with these products. It is seriously amazing! I love all the new Petaloo flowers and Prima embellishments too.

Round Robin Tags

Hi everyone! We are doing a Round Robin challenge at the Flying Unicorn and I am lead for the tag team...so I decided to do two tags for my team mates to choose from! I have started with the gorgeous Fabscraps Christmas Collection. I also some new Shimmerz products for the masking and to cover the chippys! All available at the Flying Unicorn store!

 

The chippys is covered with some Dimensionz Pearly Gates and I have misted some Shimmeringz in Goldie Lox on it. I LOVE the way it turned out. I did some masking in the background on this tag with the New Gold Mine Texturez.

For my next tag I have used the New Foiled Again Dazzlerz for the masking and to finish off the chippy!

Build a Page Tutorial with Flying Unicorn

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout and a Build a Page using the gorgeous November Kit of the Month from the Flying Unicorn! I took lots of pics along the way so lets get started.

 

I have picked two papers from the Delight Collection.

 

Tear a strip from 2 sides on one of the papers.

 

Now distress all the edges on everything, even the torn pieces.

 

Glue them all together now. I have tucked in the smaller strips here and there.

 

Next I used some Golden Molding paste and the fun masks included in the kit.

 

Here it is after I masked. Let this dry.

 

The kit comes with 3 yummy Shimmerz mists. I have sprayed them on the layout now and heat set between each color.

 

Cut some strips from coordinating paper.

 

Distress edges and add to layout along the bottom and top right corner.

 

Next I chose some left over pieces from t he kit along with some tags in the kit and distressed all the edges.

 

Use some of the mists to finish the wood chippys and flowers to match.

 

Put everything together and add in some of the gorgeous prima flowers and resin pieces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the finished project! This kit is just loaded with so many goodies to complete your projects! I tucked in bits and pieces of trims to complete it. I hope you enjoyed my BAP J
