Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Month "Coffee & Muse" Part 1

Hi everyone! It is reveal day for the Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Monh “Coffee & Muse” and believe me this kit is just jam packed full of yummy goodness!!! I have 3 layouts to share. First up I have used the delish Prima Collection in the kit. I love this layout...the background is so funky and fun!

I added is lots of masking and texture in the background for this one.

For the masking and drips I have used lots of Shimmerz in the background.

My cutie pie nieces in this layout.

The masking is done with some Golden texture paste and a Prima Crackle Mask. These are all available in the Flying Unicorn store!

The chippys are from Dusty Attic and they are finished with some Shimmerz Before Dawn Vibez.

For my last layout I tried to stay away from girlie since my grandson is in it hehe.

The drips and splatters are with some Shimmerz, the masking is with a Prima mask and some Tim Holtz Distress ink. These are all available in the Flying Unicorn store and look at that Flying Unicorn key Adornment….love them!

There are two things required when creating Coffee & Muse. As we give tribute to our paper crafting muse hopefully our creative mjo will not leave anytime soon. Here is a close up of the front cover. I have done lots of masking with one mask in the Mixed Media Add On and also some Crafters Workshop Masks from the FlyingUnicorn store. I also used some Kaisercraft and Dusty Attic chippys which are finished with some Shimmerz Before Dawn Vibez.

My Everything *Mojo Monday Flying Unicorn*

Hi everyone! Today is Mojo Monday Sketch day at the Flying Unicorn and it is my turn to create with it. I have used the April Kit of the Month. Lots of inking and distressing. I have added a bit of gesso and Shimmerz paints in the background.

 

The cute little banner was part of the April KOM and added the perfect touch to this layout.

I made the rosette flower with some of the ribbon that came in the kit.

SHIMMERZ FUN!

Hello everyone! Today I have a Mixed Media Tag and Canvas to share with you. I have used lots of Shimmerz products on both. I have also used papers from my April Kit of the Month from the Flying Unicorn.  First is my tag. The corner flip is inspired by Miranda Edney. The background is misted wih some Ruby and Truffle Spitz and I I have used some Hot Fudge Vibez for the circles and drips.

 

The chippy fence is coverd with some gesso and than I dry brushed on some Pearlz Grammie Berrie paint. The title chippy has a thicker layer of the same paint.

 

The grass chippys have a layer of gesso and I have misted them with some Olive Branch Spritz. I love to alter my chippys with Shimmerz products they just shine!

 

Next up is my Canvas. I have used some Snow Storm Vibez in the background for a white washed look. The Lifetime Prima papers from my Flying Unicorn Kit were just perfect for this fun canvas!

 

Some of the flowers are misted with 4 Leaf Clover Spritz.

 

The cheese cloth is misted with Olive Branch Spritz.

 

I added some resit canvas pieces that are misted with some Sea Foam and Truffle Spritz.
