From My Heart II Pion *CT Flying Unicorn*

Good morning everyone! Today I have some creations that I have made with the New Pion collection…From My Heart II. As soon as Alda got it in the Flying Unicorn store I ordered it right away and could not wait to get my hands on it. The new 6x6 pages are so perfect for cards I wish I had gotten more! So grab a coffee, sit back and relax and I hope you enjoy what I have created with this gorgeous collection!

Best Wishes Card

I used my Martha Steward Cherish punch to create the punched background for this card. The beautiful tag, border and butterflies are all cut from the Pion papers. I have added a doily, some flowers and a big bow to finish it off.

 Moments Card

This was created with the 6x6 papers. I have distressed and inked them. The postcard is fussy cut from the papers as well and I added some flowers, a bow and some liquid pearls.

 Believe Card

For this card I first created the tag from the collection. I did some punching on the bottom layers and added some gauze, flowers, liquid pearls and bow. After it was complete I decided to make it into a card.

A Perfect Day Card

This is a card that opens up in the center and is tied with a bow. I have added a birdcage rub on, a bird chippy, and some of the new yummy Petaloo flowers in the store!

I love these tags that you just cut out from the papers and then dress them up. The images are also in the collection. I have added a doily to one and distressed layers behind the other one. Add some crinkle seam binding bows, flowers and liquid pearls.

A Loving Heart Pocket Card

I love making these pocket cards…they look so fancy but they are so easy to make. The tag slips out of the pocket. I have dressed them up with layers of Pion, flowers, a bow and ribbons.

Princess Layout

My last creation is a layout of my grand daughter. I have done a bit of masking, added lots of layers of Pion and yummy goodies.

The chippys are from Dusty Attic and all the papers are Pion.

The resin corner pieces on the photo are Shabby Chic ones from Prima. The chippy letters are first painted white than I inked the bottoms of them. I added some rock candy crackle paints and liquid pearls to them.

Well that is it for today…I will be back on tomorrow with a SOUS reveal. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic week.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Bonjour CT Flying Unicorn

Hi everyone and Happy Hump Day! Today I have a layout to share that I have made for Kaisercrafts week at the Flying Unicorn.  I have used papers from the Bonjour Collection, the Prima distressing tool and chalk inks, Ranger Rock Candy Crackle and Liquid Pearls, and a Dusty Attic chippy…ALL available in the FlyingUnicorn Store. The photo is me and my daughter.

I have done a lot of fussy cutting for this layout. The photo is even fussy cut and I have surrounded it with fussy cut flowers from the collection.

I have tucked a Dusty Attic chippy swirl into the flower cluster. It is first painted white and then I have used some pink glimmer mist and rock candy crackle paint on it. The edges are distressed with my Prima tool and then inked with the new Prima chalk inks. I love them as they can get into tiny areas because of their shape.

Close up of the flower clusters which are full of Prima flowers, Petaloo leaves and gauze for texture.

Well that is it for today…I will be back on tomorrow with a feature on PION. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic week.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

All of the papers and flowers are from Prima. The cute little crocheted butterfly is made by Cathi from the Flying Unicorn. I am sure you know this is my grand daughter hehe…I scrap her a lot. This is just a preview of the fun we are going to have in March during our Haute Couture at the Unicorn Ritz challenges! I have chosen Givenchy as my designer and inspiration for my layout. He designed this dress for Audrey Hepburn for the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s and it is just so glamorous and yummy! She was so gorgeous in his creation. I have used one of the Glitz collections available in the store at the Flying Unicorn.

I have done lots of distressing and yummy layers on this layout. I just love the Glitz add ons and have tucked in lots of them, adding a few flowers for dimension. For the DA chippy I have first painted it white then I have added some mists and smooch to finish it off.

I added a bit of masking behind the doily and the letters were cut with my cricut.

One last close up of the yummy layers and goodies on this layout.

Two layouts - OUAS sketch

TGIF everyone! I have two projects today…both using the sketch from Once Upon aSketch. For the challenge this time around you had to journal about a dream holiday or vacation. I have always wanted to go on a vacation with my brothers and their wives and finally we all got to go to Vegas on a trip..and it was so much fun with them! I have used papers from Basic Grey, flowers from Petaloo and have done lots of stamping on this layout.

Here you can see the stamping behind the flower cluster, one of my fav stamps.

The journaling section.

And finally the larger flower cluster with stamping at the top and bottom of the page. Love my LaBlanche stamps and one of my goals this year is to use them more.

Ok for my next layout you get to meet Uncle Baxter, and this is for the American Idol Challenge at the Flying Unicorn but I have used the same sketch. Uncle Baxter is my grandsons dog and yes he is “sexy” …well so he thinks he is anyways! I had to use the title from a song for my layout title. I have used I am Sexy and I know it by LMFAO. I have also used this months Kit from the Flying Unicorn to create this layout.

I have done lots of distressing, some machine stitching and added some liquid pearls to the circles. The background has bits of gesso painted on it and the grass chippys are from Dusty Attic.

The chippy is first painted white, than I used some olive glimmer mist on it and some Mandarine Glam on the tops. I found a couple of doggy footprint stickers in my stash and added them to the layout. That is Uncle Baxter !

Well that is it for today…I will be back tomorrow for the Flying Unicorn Blog Hop. The prizes are amazing and I hope to see you there! Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic weekend.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping :)

Kenz **CT Flying Unicorn**

Hi everyone and Happy Hump Day! Today I have a layout to share that I have made for Tattered Angels week over at Flying Unicorn. I have used Authentique papers, a Dusty Attic sweet pea frame chippy and Tattered Angels products…all available in the Flying Unicorn Store. The photo is my daughter.

The top corner piece is a fussy cut wing from some Donna Salazar paper that I have, and I made the rolled flowers from Laura’s tutorial at the Flying Unicorn, they were fun! The background I have used some gesso with a brick mask, than I did some misting on it. On the little hearts I have misted them too and added some DS fairy dust glitter to them.

I also made the large flower and used some TA glimmer mists and then some chalk on the edges of them. The DA chippy frame is first painted white, than I used some glimmer glam and glimmer glazes to get the colors I wanted. They also add a real shine to finish off the chippy just perfectly. To finish off this project I added some burlap behind the photo and a big burlap bow.

Ok well that is it for today. I hope to see you all on Saturday for our Making it Work Blog Hop at the Flying Unicorn. There are lots of goodies to be given away during the hop! Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic week.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
