Joy Creative Embellishments Jan Challenge

Hi everyone! A new monthly challenge revealed on the Creative Embellishments Blog today! I love the inspiration photo and used the colors and the layout of the photo to inspire my layout. The twist is to add some texture and I did that with some molding pastes and masks in the background. I made this layout for a friend at work.

 

 

 

I cute the Pussy Willow chippys into two pieces and used one in the right cluster and the other piece in the main photo cluster. The papers are from 7 Dots and the Flying Unicorn store.

 

I also tucked in a few pieces from the Moroccan Lattice Panel here and there.

 

I finished it all off with some dabs of gesso and drips ofShimmerz Inklingz.

Hi everyone! It is reveal day for the January Your Passion Your Art kits from the Flying Unicorn and it is just packed with so many goodies!  I just LOVE the colors in this kit and the Riddersholm Collection is perfect. Each month the main kit come with a fun Off the Page project and this months is a wooden jewellery box.

 

 

I first covered it with the papers in the kit.

 

Next I added some masking with some Shimmerz Dazzlerz.

 

The kit has some Shimmerz mists that were perfect for this OTP project. I even covered the flowers with them to make them blend in.

Fabscraps Elegant Chic Card and Tag Set

Hi everyone!! Today  I have a card and tag set created with the Elegant Chic Collection from Fabscraps…The details on the papers in this collection are just yummy and there are so many fun pieces to add to your projects!

Beautiful Flowers and lace trims from the Flying Unicorn store. My final touches…some drops and drips of Shimmerz Inklingz…the colors just add to this vintage layout.
