Happy Hump Day!!! I am still home from work, I have a bad cold uggg L but hey I got to clean up my scrap room a bit today and while I was in there I had to play for a while too. Scrapthat has a misting challenge this month so I used my April kit and made this layout today. The photo is my grandson Johnathan at Easter.
I used a tutorial from Irene Tan aka Scrapperlicious to get the misting, gesso, technique; you can see her blog here. In these two close ups you can see the masking and distressing that I did.
I tucked in a lace doily in the section up top and added some liquid pearls to the title area. The flowers are all from Petaloo and the wing is a chippy that I altered and layered. The butterflies were cut out and I added stickles and gems to them.
Well that is it for today. Thank you so much for stopping in for a peek. I hope that you all have a fantastic week. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
