the Flying Unicorn April Kit “A Touch of Spring” Part 2

Hi everyone! Today I have Part 2 of my reveal for the Flying Unicorn April Kit “A Touch of Spring”. Seriously this kit is LOADED! Lets start off with the OTP project that comes in the kit. It’s a huge birdhouse. I have first painted it white then I have inked it, and used crackle rock candy on it. For the roof I have used my Prima brick stamp with gesso. My theme is kinda Fall/Halloween and I will put it out in the fall for a decoration.

I have used lots of Dusty Attic chippys on this. Some DA border pieces to cover all the roof gables. The little crows and the webs are all from Dusty Attic.

Remember that amazing sketch that I drew…well yepp 2 more layouts with it coming up now. For this one I have used papers from Ruby Rock-it, Fabscraps and Megs Garden. I have done lots of distressing and machine stitching on this one. The photo is me and my daughter…looks like we are boozing it up in Vegas LOL! Eeek I have a drink in each hand. LOL! I have also used some chippy vines and dress form from Dusty Attic and some liquid pearls to finish it off.

This layout is titled New Bike and look at that cool bike my grandson got from Aunty for his birthday….spoiled lil guy I tell ya! I have used more Glitz papers from the kit and see that cool fence…yepp in the kit too! The brickwork is done with my Prima brick stamp and gesso. The chippys are all from Dusty Attic and they are covered with lots of mists, glam and glaze. All from the Flying Unicorn store.

And for my last layout “A everyday kind of wonderful” I have used a mojo mnday sketch from the forums for this one. The papers are from Megs Garden and Ruby Rock-it. Lots of distressing and yummy layers.

Love the vintage buttons that Alda put in this kit. I added some twine bows to them. The Cameo is from one of the forum members Cathi O…thanks Cathi!

Ok well that is it for today. I hope that you all have a fantastic Easter Weekend!  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
