Happy
Saturday everyone! Thanks for all the warm wishes on my back…they worked! It is
sooo much better and I should be able to get lots done this weekend, and believe
me my house needs it! hehe. For this layout I have used this weeks palette at The Color Room…and it was a hard one for me. I also added lots of chippys to use this for inspiration on a challenge at the Flying Unicorn. I decided to start with plain white cardstock
and see where it took me. The photo is my grand daughter.
I have used some corrugated board in the background and LOTS
of gesso. I than added a couple of different mists to try to get the colors right.
Add in some doilys, gauze, stamping and of course Dusty Attic chippys. I have used
Ingrid’s chippy tutorial and added some beads to gesso to cover the chippys. I
then added some glimmer mist and glam to finish them off. I love how they look. I have also done some machine stitching in the background.
I finished it off with a variety of flowers from Petaloo, Manor
House and Prima.
Well that is it for today…I will be back soon. Everything on this layout can be purchased at the Flying Unicorn. Thanks again
for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic weekend. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love
comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

The netting, chippies and small spots of color are very nice. Glad you're feeling better!
