Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. It is Bla Sunday again..that means laundry day, but hey…I can scrap and do laundry at the same time J I made this layout for one of the monthly challenges at Scrapthat. I had to basically just use 2 colors for this layout. I used my Aril kit and my main colors are teals and peach. The photo is me and my daughter when she was married. We are not really divas hehe….but we were posing.
I distressed all the layers and and I fussy cut the butterflies and added some stickles to them. I used a deep end punch and added some BoBunny stickers. The big Teal flower was white and I misted it to get the color I wanted. I tucked in a cute little doily and added some gems to the title.
The dress form Dusty Attic chippy was fun to alter and super easy. First I inked it brown with distress inks, than I painted the middle section with green Distress Crackle plain. While it was wet I added some Diamond dust to it and applied a top coat of Glossy Accents to the whole thing to seal in the diamond dust.
I also used a vine from Dusty Attic. I first painted it white, added some inks to it and glossy accents. I kinda had fun with circles on this layout in the background, I added some gems and pearls to the brown circle and I stamped under the butterfly.
Below is a couple of side shots.
Well that is it for today. I am off to do more laundry and I think I am going to play with some My Minds Eye…maybe make a little card. Thank you so much for stopping in for a peek. I hope that you all have a fantastic week, be safe and stay warm. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
