Live the Life You’ve Imagined

Good day everyone and welcome to my blog! It was raining here all day yesterday so after work I was forced to just scrap a bit …hehe…I finished this layout up this morning and thought I would share. I used this week’s palette from TCR and this months sketch from Prima BAP. The flowers and papers are all from Prima. I did lots of distressing, masking and some machine stitching. The photo was taken on Canada Day last week and is my daughter and grandson. He was having so much fun at the activities that day.

In the top corner you can see the stitching and the cute lil butterflies that I punched out. I just punch out the butterfly, add some ink to the edges and a gem in the middle. I also did some stamping.

In the other corner you can see the masking that I did with a Prima mask. The title tag was a gift from Peggy.

On the bottom you can see the piece of Dusty Attic that I used under the flower cluster. I misted it, and then used crackle accents on it. I used a deep edge MS punch for the border piece and added some layers of seam binding tape.

Ok well that is it for today...I think I am going to go paint and alter up some DA pieces while I wait for my next kit to arrive..hehe..Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic weekend.  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
