Sweet Pea Chippy Tutorial

Hi everyone, today I have a chippy tutorial for you. It may have bits and pieces from tuts I have seen but this is the finish that I have come up with and I have put my own little touches on it. I have used the Dusty Attic Sweet Pea Border chippy that is included in the October “Bella Rosa” Scrap That! kit.

Supplies Needed

Dusty Attic Sweet Pea Border
White acrylic paint
Glimmer mist
Liquid pearls
Chalk inks
Stickles

Step one: apply a good coat of the white acrylic paint as a base on the chip board.

Step two: after the paint has dried apply a coat of glimmer mist and let dry.

Step three: I now used 2 colors of chalk inks and just dabbed it on the chipboard.

Step four: add liquid pearls to the flower centers.

Step five: I added some stickles to the flower petals and that is it.

This is a super fast way to alter a chippy and you can use any colors to match your layout. Here is the finished chippy on a layout.

Ok well that is it for today. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic week. Don’t forget to come back on Friday for the Scrap That! “Bella Rosa” Blog Hop reveal and your chances to win lots of prizes!  Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
