Happy Hump Day and Feb 1st everyone! WOW Feb already and you know what that means…tonnes of new challenges up at the Flying Unicorn. This is officially my first monthly challenge and I have gone with “Whites and Neutrals +One”. My “One” that I have chosen is purples so there are a few shades of that on here. I have used paper from Fabscraps High Tea collection, glimmer mists, Zva crystals and some Dusty Attic chippys…all available in the store at the Flying Unicorn. The photo is my grand daughter holding her new little brother..they are just too cute!
I did lots of inking, misting, distressing and stitching on this layout. Here you can see some of the random stitching, stamping and gesso behind the misting.
I have used lots of Prima and Petaloo flowers and a couple of Dusty Attic pieces. The chippys are painted with crackle white picket fence paint.
I love these little hearts that I cut out and added some seam binding and flowers to them. The butterflies are cut from the Fabscraps paper and then I added some ink and gems to them. I have also tucked in a couple of paper doilys and more stamping behind them.
Here is a shot of all the yummy layers.
Well that is it for today…I will be back tomorrow with another new layout! Don’t forget to stop by the Flying Unicorn store for all you scrappy supplies..and swing by the forums for some super fun challenges with amazing RAKS as prizes. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope that you have a fantastic week. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
