Card and Tag set with Shimmerz

Hi Shimmerz Fans! Today I have a Card/Tag set where I changed flowers to match using some Shimmerz products.

I added lots of white and light colored flowers first. Then I added color with some delicious Shimmerz Aqua Huez and Inklingz  This is a perfect way to alter flowers and other embellishments for your projects! Just add colors with a paintbrush and a mist of water to blend them together…and you are done!!! Colors on my project are: She Packs a Punch and Sun Kissed Inklingz. 14 Carrots and Little Lily Aqua Huez.

Card and Tag Set - Riddersholm Barn Market

Hi everyone! Today I am on the Riddersholm Blog and I have a card and tag set created with the gorgeous Barn Market Collection! This collection is so much fun! I just adore all the pretty papers to play with in this collection.

 

 

Here is a close up of the card. I added pieces from the tag/title sheet.

 

 

And here is the tag…make sure you save all those bits and pieces when you are creating and use them as background layers on your cards and tags!

Petaloo Authentique Blog Hop

Hello Petaloo Fans and welcome to the Petaloo/Authentique “Summer is Coming” Blog Hop! My layout is created with the Authentique Utopia collection and it just screams summer fun paired with the gorgeous tropical colors of the Petaloo blooms and trims! The Utopia collection has lots of fun tags and stickers and extras to add to your creations!

Best Friends - Creative Embellishments and Flying Unicorn April Kit

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have a fun layout to share that I created with the Flying Unicorn April kit and lots of added Creative Embellishments!  

 

I used the Distressed Text Stamp in the background…I love this Creative Embellishments stamp, if you  have not checked out their stamps go see them…so much fun to play with!

 

 

 I cut the Best Friends Border chippy to use on this layout. I has a coat of gesso with white Shimmerz and some added beads for dimension.

 

 

The Scribble Heart chippys are too much fun and add so much to your creations!

Hi everyone! I am back with yet another share from the gorgeous Flying Unicorn April kit…featuring the Tales of You and Me Prima Collection. Wow this kit is jammed packed, I have created so much with it!  

 

I added some Shimmerz Coloringz and Inklingz to the background and flowers…I love how you can use some mixed media to color coordinate your embellishments!

Off the Page Project - Flying Unicorn April kit

Hi everyone! Each month the Flying Unicorn kit comes with a fun off the page project to play with…always a fun change for me to play with something different. This month it is a metal holder that you get to alter. I decided to make mine a paint brush holder for my desk…in a beach theme. I love Beach themes, I think it’s the colors are so pleasing to me.

 

 

I added lots of pretty Petaloo flowers and burlap trims on the holder.

 

 

Add in a few sea shells with some Shimmerz Inklingz on them to finish it all off.

Life is Better At The Beach - Riddersholm

Hi everyone! Today I am up on the Riddersholm Blog with a fun mixed media beach layout featuring the gorgeous Newport Collection. I am totally in love with this collection!

 

I tore pieces for the background and fussy cut some of the pieces from the tag/title pages from Riddersholm.

 

 

Add in some pretty shells, flowers and trims and you are done!

Love - Creative Embellishments and CSI

Hi everyone! Creative Embellishments are guests at CSI challenge site this month and I am playing with case file 196. What a fun color palette to play with and anything that will make me journal a bit is a bonus!

 

 

I definitely had to dig into my paper stash to come up with the colors to go with this case file! I tucked in some different size gear chippys in with my clusters.

 

 

 

Don’t you just love the new title Border sets and this title is from the Joy set! The chipboard pieces are all finished with a coat of gesso and some Shimmerz Inklingz to finish them off.
