Cake Smash **Swirlydoos**

Hi and happy hump day lol. Yippee getting close to the weekend and I have so much scappy goodies to do this weekend. I have been asked to be a feature artist at Scrapbook News and Review and this weekend I will be preparing my feature and tutorial for that. For my layout today I used my Swirlydoos “Cabaret” kit. The photo is of my cute little grand son Johnathan, his first birthday cake smash! FUN!! I guess he was quite the mess in the end, and by the looks of the photos in more ways than one.. haha. I first did the masking in the top corner and along the bottom, which is mostly covered up with photos, but it is there.

I used lots of Prima flowers and lace and gems on this. I added in some feathers and chippys that came with the kit.

The little bird cage is a stamp and then I cut it out and used pop ups on it.

In this close up you can see all the distressing that I did on the layers. I used a corner punch on the circle with some gems. I LOVE the new Prima masks they are soo gorgeous, and I added a Dusty Attic chippy in the corner

This is a close up of the chippy. I first inked it then covered it with Crackle Accents.

Well that is it for today. I have some G45 that I want to go play with now. Thank you so much for stopping in for a peek. I hope that you all have a fantastic week, be safe and stay warm. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
