Smile *Sketchabilities*

Well Spring is on its way. We have some sun and I saw my first Robin today, yippeeee J  I did this layout for my daughters friend, this is her two boys and they are little darlings. I love the vintage look of this photo. I used lots of G45 papers and did lots of distressing and sanding on them. I call this one “Smile”…I know I am crappy with titles, I really need help in that department hehe. I used sketch #43 from Sketchabilities. It is a wonderful sketch and you should hop on over to their blog and play along too! The more I use sketches the more I love working with them.
In this close up you can see the sanding that I did on the base cardstock and all the water distressing and inking on the top layer. I made the little fan flower and added a little G45 clock on it. I fussy cut out the little car and tucked in a couple of flowers and added a swirl.
I did some misting with Smooch and added a few more goodies on this close up. The DA key is first inked then I added Glossy Accents to it.
The DA piece in this corner is first misted with two different colors of glimmer mist then I added Glossy Accents to it. The little cards are from G45 and the brad is from My Minds Eye.
I used a corner punch for the circle, added a piece of black lace fro trim and did more misting.
Well that is it for today. I hope you stop by Sketchabilities and join in on the fun. Thank you so much for stopping in for a peek. I hope that you all have a fantastic week, be safe and stay warm. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J

Simply gorgeous. Love the vintage theme and all your wonderful embellishments. You made the photo 'pop'. Know what you mean about the titles - Perhaps something with 'Retro' may have been an option. The little boys are so cute.
