eternally **Swirlydoos**

Yippee its Friday!!!!!!! I made this layout for a contest at Swirlydoos and I used the Dusty Attic sketch for April for it. The contest is all about chippys and how you alter them..so this was a fun layout. I used my April kit from Swirlydoos which is loaded with BoBunny Gabrielle collection. The photo is my nephew when he got married.

I distressed the bottom 2 layers and cut the big die in half and used it on the top and bottom of the layers. I used pop ups on the big die, and added 2 colors of liquid pearls to it.

The Dusty Attic scrolls on the top and bottom are first painted white, then I inked them and added some glimmermist and glossy accents to them. When they were dry I added some liquid pearls and a little Prima rose.

I used some glimmer mist and a Prima mask across the center of the layout. The title piece and the gate both were painted white first, then inked and I added glossy accents to the title and glimmermist to the gate.

The tourquise and peach colored flowers are from Petaloo. I misted the peach ones to get the color I wanted. The ferns were fun and I with I had more of them. They are first painted white, and then I inked the edges and added some glimmer mist to them. While they are damp you can bend them to turn up. Once they dried I painted them again with Distress Rock Candy cracke paint.

Below is just a couple of side shots of the DA.

Well that is it for me for the day, I am so looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I think I might tackle cleaning my scrap room and try to organise it some, maybe box up stuff that I probably wont use and give it to my daughter to scrap with. Thank you so much for stopping in for a peek. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend, be safe and stay warm. Feel free to leave me some scrappy love comments, I love reading them ...take care and happy scrapping J
